.....In flower during June to September, it is a very attractive plant with funnel-shaped flowers about 3cm across, faintly scented, in white, pink or a mixture of both. A very tenacious plant it can be either prostrate or a climber, by twining its way anti-clockwise through vegetation up to 1 metre in length. Difficult to eradicate as the roots can travel a considerable depth and after attempting its removal, small pieces left behind rapidly grow again making the problem worse. It is also very resistant to many weedkillers.
