Brown Argus Butterfly

Brown Argus Butterfly - notes.

The caterpillar has a black head, green body with a browny purple line along its back and pinkish streaks along the sides. It feeds on the foliage of either rock-rose, erodiums, geraniums or hemlock. The chrysalis is green with a deep pink stripe on each side and is to be found on the food plant.
